2026 Fantasy Outlook
Mullins' .738 OPS through 91 games with Baltimore last season would have been his best since 2021, but he never got on track after being dealt to the Mets and had a .182/.284/.281 slash line in 42 games for New York. He still totaled 17 homers, 59 RBI and 58 runs scored -- which was a reasonable projection for him at the start of the year -- though his 22 steals dropped by 10 from 2024. The allure of Mullins' 30-30 campaign in 2021 is a distant memory, but he's still averaged nearly 17 long balls and 27 stolen bases across the past four seasons. However, he's batting just .228 the last three years and is trending in the wrong direction heading into his age-31 season. Poor hard-hit (35.9 percent) and barrel rates (6.2 percent) don't provide much optimism about him providing more consistency at the plate in 2026. Mullins inked a one-year deal with the Rays and is likely to start out in a strong-side platoon role, which should be enough volume for him to provide some fantasy upside in the power and speed departments.
