Rivas spent the season shuttling between the Mariners and Triple-A Tacoma. His game is getting on base and running, fueled by an extreme patient approach. He got on base at a 41 percent clip with Rainers, helping him swipe 24 bags in 30 tries. He was 3-for-3 with the big club, albeit with a .333 OBP in 86 plate appearances. Rivas can play second base, shortstop and third base. The Seattle starters in front of him all have injury or performance concerns, yielding a pathway to playing time. Rivas is only an option in AL-only, but he can be a source of end-game speed. Read Past Outlooks
