Andre Lipcius

Andre Lipcius

25-Year-Old Third Baseman3B
Los Angeles Dodgers
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Lipcius got the call to the majors for the first time in his career last year, and the 25-year-old managed a .286/.342/.400 slash line with one home run and four RBI across 13 games for Detroit. He exclusively played third base for the Tigers, though Lipcius played all over the diamond earlier in the year in the minors. While Lipcius has yet to really make his mark at the MLB level, the former third-round pick has shown some signs of potential. He's displayed a solid approach at the plate, highlighted by the 17.7% strikeout rate and 12.4% walk rate he recorded over 97 games with Triple-A Toledo in 2023. Lipcius has yet to produce a ton of power as a professional, but his contact skills could lead to him getting a larger role with the Tigers. At this point, Matt Vierling looks like Detroit's primary third baseman, though he's a fairly unproven option. The likes of Zach McKinstry, Colt Keith, Tyler Nevin and Andy Ibanez could also be in the mix, but Lipcius could emerge from that crowd if he looks good in the spring. For now, he's only someone to keep an eye on and probably doesn't need to be on fantasy rosters in many formats. Read Past Outlooks
