Butler was incredibly productive during his first full season in 2024 with 22 homers, 18 steals and an .807 OPS in 125 contests, but he endured the dreaded sophomore slump last year with a .234/.306/.404 slash line. He still delivered solid stats with 21 home runs and 22 steals while playing in 152 games, but he battled knee issues throughout the season, which may have affected his performance, and saw his strikeout rate spike to 28.4 percent. The 25-year-old underwent surgery early in the offseason and is expected to be healthy for spring training, which should give him a strong chance of bouncing back in 2026. Assuming he's fully past the knee problems, Butler could be a 30-30 candidate in 2026.
