2025 Fantasy Outlook
Vazquez made his MLB debut late in the 2024 season. He appeared in 11 contests for the Cubs and tallied just one hit in 12 at-bats. There's not much that can be gleaned from such a small sample, and the 25-year-old was more productive in a longer stretch of games with Triple-A Omaha. At that level, Vazquez slashed .263/.347/.432 with eight home runs, 24 RBI and 33 runs scored across 64 contests. The shortstop didn't run much, and that's never really been a part of his game during his time in the minors. Vazquez looks like organizational depth heading into 2025 with Dansby Swanson and Nico Hoerner entrenched up the middle in Chicago.
