Harris spent most of the season in Triple-A Las Vegas with just 32 homerless games with the big league club on the season. Harris hit for an empty average in that time and looked good enough in the field, but the empty bat with only third base eligibility on draft day is going to be very tough to roster in nearly all league styles, sizes, and formats. Harris did need offseason thumb surgery but is expected to be ready in time for camp to audition for a role on the club's active roster. The club struck gold with Jacob Wilson in 2025, but it is unlikely Harris can follow that same path in 2026 so watch for how things go in camp and adjust accordingly should he win the starting third base job somehow.
