Tait was a key return in the Twins trading Jhoan Duran last summer as the 18-year showed enticing promise with he bat. Tait hit .251 with 11 home runs in 75 games and a 107 wRC+ in Low-A before his trade at the deadline. He then held his own at High-A by hitting .296 with three home runs in 30 games and a 95 wRC+ despite being one of the youngest players in the league. He showed good power with a .174 ISO in the minors last season between the two levels along with a solid 20.4% K% and passable 7.4% BB%. He's young enough that it's not clear yet if he'll stay behind the plate but he does has a strong arm. He'll likely start at High-A again and could become Minnesota's catcher of the future.
