A 6-foot-3 shortstop who was born in Spain and trained in the Dominican Republic, Morales received $1.9 million from the Dodgers as one of the top prospects in the Jan. 15, 2024 international signing class. Morales slashed .342/.478/.691 with 14 home runs and 12 steals in 201 plate appearances in the Dominican Summer League.
