Emil Morales

19-Year-Old Third Baseman3B
Los Angeles Dodgers A
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Morales, a 6-foot-3 third base prospect who is still playing shortstop, got better as his age-18 season went on, culminating with a dominant first tour of the Cal League. He rode a .425 BABIP to a .339/.420/.548 slash line with five homers and five steals in 30 games at Single-A to close the year. Morales had a 28.3 percent strikeout rate and 130 wRC+ in 59 Arizona Complex League games and cut his strikeout rate to 23.1 percent at Single-A while upping his production (160 wRC+) after the jump in competition. He's going to be too big for shortstop, if he's not already, but Morales is a physical, toolsy player who could provide defensive value at third base or perhaps even right field. He's an average runner who figures to slow down in the coming years, so it will have to be his bat that carries him. Morales is an ascending asset in dynasty leagues with a chance to be a middle-of-the-order slugger in a few years. Read Past Outlooks
