Double-A Chesapeake placed Pham on the 7-day injured list Saturday due to right forearm inflammation, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Pham had an excellent first five appearances of the season prior to suffering the injury, logging a 3.42 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 35:9 K:BB in 23.2 innings. The 5-foot-11 righty is already 25 years old and in his third season at Double-A, as he entered 2025 with a lackluster scouting report highlighted by a solid cutter and decent control.

The righty threw 119 innings at Double-A Bowie in 2024, collecting a 4.24 ERA and 138:50 K:BB. Dubroff also lists Juan Nunez, Keagan Gillies, Hudson Haskin, John Rhodes, Reed Trimble and Maverick Handley as other prospects Baltimore could possibly lose in the Rule 5 Draft.
