2025 Fantasy Outlook
Lee returned to his dominant 2022 form last season after he struggled with a shoulder injury in 2023 that required surgery at the end of the season. He posted a 2.11 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP and 76:17 K:BB across 59.2 innings. Lee recorded nine holds and could be a primary setup man with the departure of A.J. Minter and with Joe Jimenez's knee injury. His 31.7% K% and 20% swinging strike rate point to him being an elite reliever. Read Past Outlooks

July struggles continue
Lee struck out one and gave up a solo home run to Randal Grichuk in the eighth inning of Monday's win over the Royals.
Analysis
Taking the mound with Atlanta ahead 9-3, Lee saw his second pitch of the frame sail over the left-field wall. The southpaw has had a tough time keeping the ball in the yard of late, and through 11 appearances in July he's stumbled to a 7.00 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 11:2 K:BB while serving up three homers in nine innings. With Raisel Iglesias a prime candidate to get shipped out at the trade deadline though, Lee could still find himself in the mix for saves in August alongside Pierce Johnson.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
The 29-year-old southpaw dazzled in 2022 with a 2.13 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 59:10 K:BB through 50.2 innings, but shoulder trouble rendered him far less effective last season and he underwent surgery in October. Lee's healthy to begin the spring, but he faces plenty of competition for a spot in the bullpen after Atlanta added Aaron Bummer, Reynaldo Lopez, Ken Giles and other relief arms this offseason. As Lee still has minor-league options remaining, he could find himself on the outside looking in when camp breaks if he doesn't force the issue with his performance.
