2025 Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Made, who signed out of the Dominican Republic for $950K on Jan. 15, 2024, is ranked higher than any prior prospect who had only played in the Domincan Summer League, which is a signal that he could finish the 2025 season as the No. 1 overall prospect. A shortstop who may end up at third base or second base, Made slashed .331/.458/.554 with six home runs, 28 steals, an 18.1 percent walk rate and a 13 percent strikeout rate in 51 games. His under-the-hood metrics like 90th percentile exit velocity, chase rate and in-zone miss rate all paint a picture of a flawless hitting prospect relative to his peers. Milwaukee's strong track record signing and developing international prospects is also a mark in Made's favor. He'll likely head to Single-A Carolina as a 17-year-old, and if he performs well, he could get a bump to High-A Wisconsin shortly after his 18th birthday in May. Read Past Outlooks

Comfortable in U.S.
Made arrived at the Brewers complex in Arizona in mid-January, Jesus Cano of Baseball America reports.
ANALYSIS
Made, who was ranked as a top-25 prospect by several outlets before stepping foot in the United States for the first time in January, said through a translator that he felt comfortable and that it's been an amazing experience getting to know his teammates. There has never been a prospect this highly regarded after only playing in the Dominican Summer League, but it's because Made's advanced data is special, as is his athleticism and long-term physical projection. Nobody should be surprised if he's the No. 1 prospect in baseball a year from now, but it's also worth noting that he doesn't turn 18 until May, so it's hard to say how everything will translate with the big jump in competition after he presumably gets assigned to Single-A.
