Clears waivers
The Mariners outrighted Wilson to Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Wilson will remain in the Seattle organization after he went unclaimed by MLB's other 29 teams upon being exposed to waivers over the weekend. The 25-year-old got a brief cup of coffee in the majors earlier this season but has otherwise spent the entire campaign at Tacoma, with whom he's produced a .771 OPS over 282 plate appearances.

James Anderson breaks down all of the fantasy-relevant prospects in the loaded AL East, including the game's top prospect, Rays middle infielder Wander Franco.

James Anderson wraps up his look at farm systems around MLB and warns that Fernando Tatis Jr. may not be an overnight sensation in San Diego.
2015 Fantasy Outlook
Wilson is young for his age group, taken as a 17-year-old with the 69th pick in the 2014 draft. A lanky 6-foot-3, 175-pound outfielder, Wilson is a toolsy project, and could spend the entire 2015 season back in rookie ball. If he can add enough mass to fill out to 200 pounds, resembling someone like Cameron Maybin, then it would be a lot easier to project him as more than just a speedy fourth-outfielder/defensive-replacement type, but right now it’s hard to see much more than that, if he can even make it to the show. He won’t turn 19 until August 15 and could be in the minors for another four-to-five years, meaning he can be ignored in most dynasty leagues.
