2023 Fantasy Outlook
Miller was able to carve out a part-time role in 2022, filling in at first base, second base and designated hitter. He produced reverse splits, as the righty hitter logged a .258/.306/.362 slash line against right-handed pitchers compared to a .212/.290/.328 line against southpaws. Miller contributed 51 RBI and 53 runs scored, but hit only six home runs and added two stolen bases. He's mainly a contact hitter, as evidenced by his solid 19.7 percent strikeout rate last season. The Brewers acquired him from Cleveland this offseason in exchange for cash or a player to be named later. Miller has an excellent track record of hitting in the minors, so the Brewers will see if he can take a big step forward against MLB pitching in his age-26 season. He will be competing with Luis Urias and Brice Turang for playing time. Read Past Outlooks

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2021
There's no immediate path to playing time for Miller in 2022, but that shouldn't be too much of a concern. He's a versatile player who is most likely to see time in the infield -- challenging Andres Gimenez at second base or Bobby Bradley at first base -- but he could also move to the outfield if Oscar Mercado doesn't hit well enough to maintain a starting job in right field. Miller didn't do much in 60 games in 2021 for his first taste of big-league action, slashing .204/.243/309 with a 26.7 percent strikeout rate. He's shown promise in the minors as a contact hitter, and the defensive versatility is a plus if he can do enough with the bat to warrant more playing time.
