Analysis
Cruz has yet to make it past rookie ball since being selected with the 90th overall pick in the 2024 First-Year Player Draft. The 18-year-old infielder has slashed .271/.314/.429 through 191 plate appearances in the Arizona Complex League this season and will aim to join the Nationals' Single-A affiliate in Fredericksburg before the end of 2025.
