Tim Tawa

The Diamondbacks protected Tawa from the Rule 5 draft this winter, after the 25-year-old swatted 32 home runs with an .868 OPS between two minor-league stops in 2024. It should be noted that those numbers were heavily influenced by hitter-friendly parks in Amarillo and Reno. Tawa's value to the organization lay in his position versatility - he played every defensive position on the diamond except catcher - and as a right-handed bat for a lineup that leans lefty.
