Harrison logged a 3.15 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, 48 strikeouts and 18 walks in 40 innings across nine starts for Single-A Charleston.
ANALYSIS
A 6-foot-4 righty who turned 19 in August, Harrison received just under $850,000 after the Rays selected him in the fifth round last year and he didn't debut until this season. His 11 percent walk rate in the Carolina League was on the high side, but Harrison demonstrated a high ceiling in his full-season debut. He has excellent size and his fastball already sits in the mid-90s with late life. Harrison's changeup is probably his best secondary offering. Improving his breaking balls and control will be top priorities in coming seasons.
