Celtics Defeat Sixers in Game 7, 112-88
The Boston Celtics defeated the visiting Philadelphia 76ers, 112-88, in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals at TD Garden on Sunday.

Boston won this series, 4-3. They will play host to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

While there were eight ties and 11 lead changes in the first half, Boston never relinquished the lead in the second half. A 32-23 second quarter started the onslaught, but a 33-10 third quarter completed the blowout win. They got their lead up to 30 points at times, leading by at least 20 points for the closing 15 minutes. The Celtics shot 47 percent from the field and 46 percent from three-point range while holding the Sixers to 37 percent from the field and 22 percent from long range. Boston also out-rebounded Philly, 54-48, while out-assisting them, 18-15.

The Sixers (3-4) were led by Tobias Harris, finishing with 19 points and five rebounds. Tyrese Maxey amassed 17 points, three rebounds and four assists. Joel Embiid had just 15 points and eight boards on 5-of-18 shooting. James Harden accrued nine points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals. De'Anthony Melton led the bench with seven points, five rebounds and two steals.

The Celtics (4-3) were led by Jayson Tatum, tallying 51 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and two steals. Jaylen Brown was the only other starter in double figures, totaling 25 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks. Malcolm Brogdon led the bench with 12 points, two rebounds and two assists. Al Horford had six points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks.
