Saraf is starting Wednesday's season opener against the Hornets, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.

The rookie first-rounder will get the nod over Egor Demin for Opening Night. Saraf and Demin will likely remain in a heated competition for the starting job going forward.
