2025 Fantasy Outlook
The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 12.0 points, 4.1 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 23.4 minutes for Ratiopharm Ulm last season. The lefty is an excellent playmaker, with passing being his best skill. With his above-average height, almost every type of pass is in his arsenal, and he makes reads with ease. Saraf drives often, focusing on downhill moves and change of direction rather than shifting left to right on the perimeter. He pulls up with confidence from the mid-range and has a solid form that could lead to improved three-point shooting as he continues to develop. Considering Saraf's passing talent, he should be able to function as a floor general, with his size potentially allowing him to play multiple positions, which could be further expanded if he develops a more consistent three-point shot. The Nets selected Saraf with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. There's upside for Saraf as a rookie, though he's in a logjam with Egor Demin and Nolan Traore - two other rookie point guards. That's in addition to a whole slew of wing players with muddy roles. But if Saraf can establish himself as the best of the group, minutes are available. Read Past Outlooks

Dishes out six assists Saturday
Saraf supplied nine points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and six assists across 18 minutes in Saturday's 123-88 exhibition game win over Hapoel Jerusalem.
ANALYSIS
Saraf got the starting nod in his preseason debut, dishing out a game-high mark in assists. The 19-year-old has a chance to carve out a role on a rebuilding Nets squad this season, especially if Egor Demin (foot) misses time to start the regular season. The No. 26 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Saraf averaged 12.3 points, 4.3 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game with Ratiopharm in 2024-25.

Praised by teammates
Veterans Michael Porter and Nic Claxton have been impressed by Saraf's maturity and poise in training camp, according to Brian Lewis of The New York Post.
ANALYSIS
Saraf is one of several first-round picks who joined the Nets following the 2025 NBA Draft. He was a point guard before leaping to the NBA, and while it remains to be seen if he'll stay at the position long-term, he's showing traits of a player with experience at the pro level. If that maturity is palpable as training camp advances, Saraf could have a good shot at earning rotation minutes as a rookie for a rebuilding Brooklyn team.
