E.J. Liddell News: All-around impact Saturday

Liddell (ankle) tallied 17 points (6-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks over 33 minutes in Saturday's 111-102 G League loss to the Mexico City Capitanes.

Liddell returned to action following a two-game absence, and he had a balanced production while recording the most minutes among Long Island players. The versatile man, who is serving under a two-way contract, is now available for both center and power forward positions, but he's unlikely to be considered by the NBA squad in the short term. Thus, he'll have a better chance of increasing his G League stats, which include two double-doubles in four games so far.
