All-around impact Saturday
Liddell (ankle) tallied 17 points (6-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks over 33 minutes in Saturday's 111-102 G League loss to the Mexico City Capitanes.
ANALYSIS
Liddell returned to action following a two-game absence, and he had a balanced production while recording the most minutes among Long Island players. The versatile man, who is serving under a two-way contract, is now available for both center and power forward positions, but he's unlikely to be considered by the NBA squad in the short term. Thus, he'll have a better chance of increasing his G League stats, which include two double-doubles in four games so far.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
After missing his entire rookie season due to a torn ACL, Liddell was able to suit up in the recent Summer League. Across four games, he averaged 12.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 21.3 minutes per contest. He signed a two-way deal with the Pelicans in October 2022, before being converted to a full-time contract in July of this year. Although the team obviously sees enough in him to keep him around for at least the next two years, he is unlikely to be a key piece of the rotation. He remains an intriguing dynasty prospect but won't hold any real value this season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Not likely to make roster
Liddell is not expected to make the regular-season roster for the Suns in 2024-25, according to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.
ANALYSIS
Essentially, this means the Suns' trade of David Roddy for Liddell was nothing more than a financially motivated deal. Roddy wasn't on track to be on the team's regular-season roster before leaving Phoenix, and Liddell likely won't make the cut either. Liddell is expected to play for the Suns' G League affiliate in 2024-25.
