Lonnie Walker News: Parting ways with Boston

The Celtics waived Walker on Saturday, Bobby Marks of ESPN.com reports.

Walker was unable to secure a 15-man roster spot with Boston despite impressing in the preseason and having made 322 appearances since entering the NBA as a first-round pick in 2018. The 25-year-old wing will likely spend the 2024-25 campaign with the G League's Maine Celtics unless he is able to find another NBA suitor.
