2024 Fantasy Outlook
Wiggins featured in a career-best 78 games in the 2023-24 regular season with the Thunder, but he was limited to just four starts, and his numbers were subpar. He averaged just 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists across a career-worst 15.7 minutes per game. Given that the Thunder added two solid rotation pieces in Alex Caruso and Isaiah Hartenstein in the offseason, Wiggins' minutes with OKC should be even more scarce in 2024-25. As a deep bench option in one of the best -- and deepest -- rosters in the Western Conference, Wiggins' upside will be minimal. Fantasy managers shouldn't be interested in drafting him, not even in the deepest of formats. Read Past Outlooks

Quiet end to strong season
Wiggins ended Sunday's 103-91 win over the Pacers in Game 7 of the NBA Finals with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound over 12 minutes.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2021
Wiggins got more playing time in his rookie season than is usually expected from a late second-round pick, averaging 24.2 minutes per contest over 50 games. His overall stat line -- 8.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.8 three-pointers and 0.6 steals -- won't turn many heads, but Wiggins didn't sink in any area, shooting 46.3 percent from the field and 72.9 percent from the charity stripe while averaging just over one turnover per contest. The primary knock on Wiggins is his lack of a consistent outside shot, and his 30.4 percent mark from deep last season suggests that he has work to do in that area if he is to become more than a role player. The Thunder expressed their pleasure with Wiggins' early development by converting his two-way contract to a four-year deal in February, so he figures to at least have a shot at playing meaningful minutes next season. However, OKC has a stable of young talent and only so much playing time to hand out. Wiggins could as easily see his role lessen in his second campaign.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Expected to remain with OKC
The Thunder are reportedly considering the possibility of keeping Wiggins around for the 2024-25 season, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac.
ANALYSIS
Fortunately for the Thunder, they have a couple of paths they can follow to get that deal done. The Thunder could either sign Wiggins by exercising their $2 million team option and trying to sign him to an extension, or they could turn down the option and hope to reach a new deal with him as a restricted free agent. Wiggins averaged 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game in 2023-24.
