2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bridges appeared in a career-low 64 games last season and played nearly six fewer minutes a night than 2023-24, but his overall production remained steady, averaging at least 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists for a third straight campaign. Notably, Bridges missed the 2021-22 campaign due to a domestic violence charge, but with that in the past, the Hornets gave him an extension ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, putting him under contract for at least the next two seasons. Bridges wasn't the only Hornet to miss time last year, as LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller were also sidelined for extended stretches, causing Charlotte to finish near the bottom of the standings yet again. The Hornets made a few splashes this offseason, drafting Kon Knueppel with the No. 4 overall pick, signing Spencer Dinwiddie and trading for Collin Sexton. The backcourt additions shouldn't impact Bridges' bottom line, but they are high-usage players who could eat into the team's overall usage when they are playing well. Second-year forward Tidjane Salaun, veteran Grant Williams and rookie Liam McNeeley will be the primary backup power forwards, but they don't pose a threat to Bridges' starting job. While Bridges' season-long averages have been steady, there have been fluctuations with his shooting percentages. After shooting 49.1 percent from the field in 2021-22, Bridges shot 46.2 percent in 2023-24 and 43.1 percent last season, including a career-low 31.3 percent from deep on a career-high 7.0 attempts per game. However, he's improved from the charity stripe, knocking down 80.2 percent in 2021-22 compared to a career-high 87.0 percent last season. Bridges has finished inside the top 100 in eight-category leagues in five straight seasons, cracking the top 70 three times, including a top-15 finish when he played 80 regular-season games in 2021-22. Season-high 35 points
Bridges posted 35 points (13-23 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 7-9 FT), three rebounds and one steal across 41 minutes during Saturday's 118-111 overtime victory over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges put the Hornets on his back, scoring 10 of his season-high 35 points during the overtime period. While his peripheral numbers left a little to be desired, managers have to be thrilled with his offensive output. With LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller seemingly in and out of the lineup on a regular basis, Bridges has been able to assert himself as a primary scoring threat, averaging 22.4 points and 2.8 three-pointers in 35.3 minutes per contest through the first 20 games of the season.

A felony domestic violence charge resulted in Bridges missing all of the 2022-23 season, but he returned last season. After the league's 10-game suspension to begin the year, he went on to look like the breakout version of himself that emerged in 2020-21. Bridges was even better in some ways, reaching per-game career highs in minutes (37.4), points (21.0), rebounds (7.3) and made threes (2.3). Managers who took a chance on Bridges late in drafts, typically outside of the top 100, were rewarded. The 26-year-old again figures to be a top option on the Hornets. LaMelo Ball will run the show, while sophomore Brandon Miller should improve and take some more playmaking responsibilities, but Bridges should slot in as No. 3 at worst. Managers concerned about drafting players on potentially bad teams or players with outsized risk for personal absences are probably not going to be targeting Bridges. But if your primary concern is drafting players in their prime who are in fairly stable roles, Bridges should be in consideration in the 40-60 range in most leagues.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could be traded this summer
Bridges' name could resurface in trade rumors during the summer, according to Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer.
ANALYSIS
The Hornets aren't expected to entertain trade proposals for LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller, two players who ended the 2024-25 season with injuries but should be healthy for 2025-26. However, that might not be the case with Brandon Miller, the organization's most tradeable asset right now. However, the veteran forward plans on sticking around the Charlotte area more than he typically would and organizing voluntary workouts for teammates.
