The forward has moved into a starting role due to the injuries to Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon, and he's taken advantage of the opportunity. In 10 starts since Nov. 22, Jones is averaging 8.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game while shooting 44.8 percent from three-point range. Given that he's on a two-way deal, his strong play in recent weeks makes him a candidate to sign a standard deal sooner rather than later.
