2025 Fantasy Outlook
Jackson-Davis was a 2023 second-round pick and had a promising rookie season. However, his production declined in Year 2, despite starting 21 more games. The Warriors moved on from Kevon Looney this offseason but signed veteran Al Horford, leaving Jackson-Davis and Quinten Post to compete for the top backup spot. When at his best, Jackson-Davis grabs rebounds, finishes around the rim at a high rate and blocks the occasional shot. There's not enough upside to warrant drafting Jackson-Davis in standard leagues, but he's worth keeping an eye on if Golden State's frontcourt gets depleted. Jackson-Davis gets a boost in two-center leagues, but even in that case, he should be your fifth or sixth center. Read Past Outlooks
Solid display in limited minutes
Jackson-Davis racked up 10 points (5-6 FG), five rebounds, one block and one steal over 13 minutes during Thursday's 126-116 win over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Jackson-Davis achieved a season-high scoring count by shooting 83.3 percent from the field during Thursday's clash. Having made just one start this season, he's not expected to be favored over Quinten Post at center but could continue to see action off the bench in upcoming contests.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Jackson-Davis had an inconsistent role with the Warriors during his rookie year but showed flashes of his potential across 68 regular-season appearances, including 16 starts. The Warriors often changed their starting unit, impacting Jackson-Davis' upside. However, he was a decent fantasy option when starting, averaging 10.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 1.6 assists across 24.6 minutes per game, including the Play-In Tournament. It seems the Warriors may unleash Jackson-Davis into a consistent starting role in his sophomore year, though there's a scenario in which he'll still come off the bench, with Jonathan Kuminga and Draymond Green in the frontcourt. Jackson-Davis doesn't have an established role and is a bit rough around the edges offensively, so his fantasy upside is limited again. He might be a solid waiver pick-up -- depending on the matchup and the league format -- as the season progresses, but he should be left on waivers in most standard drafts unless he secures a starting spot during the preseason.

Primed for more minutes
Jackson-Davis could be in line for more minutes in the rotation due to Stephen Curry's hamstring injury, head coach Steve Kerr told Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors need size to counter the Timberwolves' frontcourt of Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle, and Jackson-Davis showed glimpses of what he can bring to the table in the Game 2 defeat. The second-year center recorded a 15-point, six-rebound performance in just 19 minutes in Game 2. Jackson-Davis outplayed Quinten Post, who logged three minutes despite starting.
