Yes. While there is no technical legislation for legalized sports betting, there are four operational retail sportsbooks located at casinos throughout New Mexico. Because of a 2015 gaming compact, tribes are allowed to include sports betting at their online casinos without authorization from the state. That meant they were able to open sportsbooks once PASPA was overturned in 2018.
The four sportsbooks in the state are managed by a variety of local and world-wide companies.
However, since no legislation has been passed dealing with the specifics of sports betting, New Mexico does not appear close to allowing online wagering.
Daily Fantasy Sports and horse racing betting are also allowed in New Mexico. That said, Daily Fantasy Sports aren't technically legal as online operators are only allowed in the state because New Mexico's definition of gambling does not include fantasy sports. That'll likely continue to be the case as there has been little action in proposing bills to legalize DFS.
