Golf Sleepers

We just completed our 13-team RotoWire staff golf auction. $100 budget. Draft 10 golfers. Start 5 each week. We divide Tiger Woods up by month (as featured in this Wall Street Journal story). Scoring is by total prize money won with a bonus for majors. We only use PGA Tour events + WGC events + majors (no lame PGA Tour events used when there is a WGC or major that week).

Here were my sleeper lists heading into the draft. It's a very deep league, so I'm giving you three levels of sleepers.

Everyone Knows Them Sleepers

Aaron Baddeley
Luke Donald
Justin Rose
Tim Clark
Vaughn Taylor

Donald and Rose were hurt last year, so they'll probably go cheaper than expected. Baddeley and Taylor had bad years, but you can probably get them cheap enough to be worth a shot at a rebound. Clark had a down year and should bounce back.

Deeper Sleepers

Dustin Johnson - Second year player who showed promise as a rookie with a win.
Chez Reavie - Second year player who showed promise as a rookie with a win.
Steve Marino -  Player on upside of career.
Arron Oberholser - Hand injury ruined last year, could bounce back big.
Notah Begay - Back injury that plagued him last few years is said to be gone.
Greg Owen - Back in the US again. Experienced pro people may forget about.

Last pick sleepers

Colt Knost
Webb Simpson
James Nittles
Gary Woodland
Young Eun-Yang
Derek Fathauer
Brenden De Jonge
Spencer Levin
Marc Leishman
Arjun Atwal

These are grads from the Nationwide Tour or Q-School who have the most upside
