Casto is almost the prototypical Quadruple-A player: high (but not too high) draft pick, touted (but not too touted) by scouts as he was coming up, two-time organizational Player of the Year when the organization was still recovering from Omar Minaya's gutting during the Expos' dying days... he's a guy who's gone as far as his talent and drive can take him, and it's not quite far enough.
