Lewis may have struggled in his collegiate debut against a tough BYU squad, but he bounced back with a 21-point effort in his next game against Queens and has scored a dozen or more in four of his last five. Tuesday's effort was his second-best scoring output of the year, and all things considered, his freshman season has gotten off to a strong start. He's posted respectable averages of 13.5 ppg and 5.2 apg, and has collected a total of 31 assists compared to just 12 turnovers. Villanova has won every game it has played since that opening-night loss, with Lewis continuing to take the bulk of the point guard minutes.
