Thornton picked up right where he left off for the Buckeyes as a dynamic scorer who does a little bit of everything. The star guard has only gotten better each year in Columbus, and after he averaged 17.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists last season, he could truly blossom into one of the top players in the nation in 2025-2026. Of course, it'll help his case if Ohio State is relevant on a national scale, and after allowing 102 points against IU Indy, the jury is still out.
