Garland was an efficient superstar for the Spartans in their second game of the year, but his efforts unfortunately weren't enough by the end of the showing. The starting point guard pieced together a career-high 30 points, and he did so shooting 84.6 percent on his 13 field-goal attempts. Garland has also now scored 20 or more points and logged at least one steal in San Jose State's first two games of the campaign. He'll look to continue his dominance at Michigan State this upcoming Thursday.
