Rothstein noted two players who defensively excelled, Gabe Dynes and Marsh. In particular, the latter showed incredible on-ball defense. It adds to why Rothstein believes USC's projected starting lineup will include Marsh, more likely than before now that Alijah Arenas (knee) has a torn meniscus that may already end his 2025-26 season before it can even begin.
