Mingo returns from a three-game absence caused by post-surgery recovery from a fractured nose. Penn State lost all three games that he did not play, but this season's Nittany Lions having their best scorer, distributor and perimeter defender should give them a much-needed boost. Mingo is averaging 14.9 points, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals in 14 games (all starts) this season. The freshman is excelling at all rates, and doing so with a relatively young Big Ten team makes it all the more impressive.
