Kutcher announced Friday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Illinois, joining the program as a walk-on transfer from South Dakota.
ANALYSIS
Kutcher will help the Fighting Illini restore some depth after the team lost four scholarship players to the transfer portal earlier in the offseason, but Illinois isn't yet counting on the 6-foot-2 guard to fill one of the vacated scholarships. He appeared in 14 games for South Dakota in 2022-23, averaging 2.5 points in 4.7 minutes per contest.
