Boswell's fight in this one was the only reason the Illini were remotely competitive, as this game had major blowout potential had the senior guard not consistently made tough shots. It was Boswell's second-best game in terms of both scoring and rebounding totals this season and he only committed one turnover against a tough UConn defense. On the season, Boswell is now averaging career highs in both scoring (17.3 ppg) and assists (3.9 apg). He and the Illini have a tough schedule after a short break to begin the month of December, as they'll face Tennessee on Dec. 6 and Ohio State on Dec. 9.
