Foster ended Saturday's 59-57 victory over Marquette with nine points (3-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and three steals in 28 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Foster was by no means at the top of his game in terms of scoring versus the Golden Eagles, but he produced big on the defensive side of the ball in the big win. The senior guard tied his season-high of three steals, and he also put together a campaign-best eight rebounds. While he's averaging just 5.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in the last five games for the Musketeers, he's still come up big in other areas of the court when Xavier's needed it against tough conference opponents.
