Sanchez committed to Arkansas on Tuesday, joining the program as a transfer from Division II Hawaii Pacific, Riley McFerran of Rivals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A 6-foot-4 guard, Sanchez averaged 14.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists over 34.3 minutes while shooting 34.6 percent from three-point range over 29 games with Hawaii Pacific in 2023-24. Sanchez will occupy a scholarship spot for Arkansas and will have two seasons of eligibility to use, but given the big jump in competition from Division II to the SEC, he may not be in store for a rotation spot in 2024-25.
