Pinnis has announced his commitment to Providence ahead of the 2025-26 season, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Pinnis will make the move stateside following a stint in the Latvian professional basketball league. The 21-year-old 7-footer played backup center for VEF Riga this past season, averaging 7.2 points and 5.5 rebounds. Pinnis, who also represented Latvia at the FIBA U20 championships, will look to carve out a role with the Friars this offseason.
