Mela, who played 22 minutes in each of the first two games of the season, got his first start of the season Tuesday. He took advantage of his opportunity as he logged a double-double, ranking first on the team in rebounding and second in scoring. He made two of his four three-point attempts and went perfect on his six shots from inside the arc. He has showed his rebounding ability as well as some positive signs in the scoring department so far this season, so he's a name to watch as the season progresses.
