Lipsey participated in Iowa State's latest practice Friday, but his participation was not enough to warrant clearance for the ISU-Purdue game Saturday. Thus, ISU's coaching staff will re-evaluate him both Friday and Saturday to see if they can get him ready to face the AP Poll's No. 1 team. For five games this season, his statistical rates include 18.4 points, 5.2 assists, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 steals, 1.6 three-pointers made and 0.5 turnovers with 50.7/33.3/77.8 shooting splits. Lipsey has easily been one of college basketball's best players, so having him available should boost ISU's chances of defeating Purdue.
