Simpkins came off the bench in his fourth straight game Thursday, this time playing a season-high 31 minutes. He led the team with 14 points and grabbed a season-high eight rebounds (four offensive) in the win. He has shot just 5-17 from the field over the last two games, but he's made up for it by shooting 11-12 from the free throw line. With Jahseem Felton (knee) out for the rest of the season, Simpkins will continue to have a sizable role in the Pirates' rotation.
