Yessoufou put together the best performance of his young career, setting new career-highs with 28 points, six assists and two blocked shots while also adding eight boards and two steals in a stat-stuffing performance. The freshman has scored in double figures in each game while reaching the 20-point plateau four times through 11 games and crashing the glass for at least five rebounds on nine occasions. Yessoufou has been a key player for Baylor thoughout the non-conference slate and will take averages of 18.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.7 blocks into league play at the start of the new year.
