Pulls out of draft
Da Silvas said Wednesday that he will withdraw from the 2023 NBA Draft and return to Colorado for his senior season in 2023-24, Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
Da Silva's decision to stay in school is a major boon for Colorado, as he's coming off a stellar 2022-23 campaign in which he was named a first-team all-Pac-12 Conference selection. In addition to averaging a team-leading 15.9 points per game, da Silva chipped in 4.8 boards, 1.5 three-pointers, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.0 minutes per contest over 35 appearances. With second-team all-Pac-12 selection KJ Simpson also back in the fold and with the Buffaloes bringing in a blue chip recruit in forward Cody Williams for the upcoming season, Colorado should enter the 2023-24 campaign as one of the top contenders for the conference title.
