Traore opened the season as the Bulldogs' backup center, but that did not stop him from having a solid performance. He led the Bulldogs' bench with 15 points while shooting 60 percent from the field, and it could've been more but he only made half of his six free throw attempts. He played nearly as many minutes (16) as Drayton Jones (17) who started at center, so early signs suggest that Traore has a chance to take over a starting spot if he continues to perform well.
