2024 Tournament PreviewDespite an eighth-place finish in the Big 12, the conference's strength proved enough to get TCU on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble, helped by a regular-season victory over No. 1 seed Houston and advancing to the conference tournament quarterfinals. TCU features an all-upperclassmen rotation, ranking third nationally in KenPom's experience metric, and is balanced on both sides of the court -- top 45 in both offensive and defensive efficiency (per KenPom). The leader on both ends is 6-7 forward Emanuel Miller (15.9 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.1 spg). Guard Trevian Tennyson adds a team-high 41.9 shooting from deep. The Horned Frogs protect the rim, ranking 21st nationally in offensive rebounding rate, and force plenty of turnovers (13th in steals percentage), but they also struggle in that regard -- 238th in offensive turnover rate. TCU also did not play a tough non-conference schedule and lost resume-building opportunities against Clemson and Nevada.
