Mack was let go ahead of the offseason bonus deadline, so Montreal won't be on the hook for paying out the 28-year-old's scheduled $45,000 bonus. "We released Austin to accommodate him and allow him to explore his options," said general manager Danny Maciocia. "We appreciate the seasons he gave us in Montreal, and our lines of communication with him remain open." Mack appeared in 12 games during the 2025 season, finishing with 48 receptions for 674 yards and two scores.
