Chris Streveler

Turnover struggles in spot start
Streveler completed 17 of 21 passes for 173 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions and added four rushes for 25 yards and a touchdown during the Blue Bombers' 40-31 win over the Argonauts in Week 9.
ANALYSIS
Streveler's ball-security issues could have cost Winnipeg the game, especially since one of his interceptions was a pick-six returned 47 yards by the Argonauts' Cameron Judge to open the scoring just before the nine-minute mark of the first quarter. However, the veteran signal-caller was nearly perfect the rest of the way except for his other two picks, and he was able to partly atone for the miscues with a nine-yard scoring run late in the opening period. Streveler was also able to benefit from a fumble-return TD and a pair of return scores by Trey Vaval, and it remains to be seen if he'll be required to draw another start for Zach Collaros (neck) in a Week 10 road matchup against the Stampeders on Saturday night.
