Smith finished as a distant second to Kenny Lawler in receiving yards, and he garnered both the third-most receptions and targets on the night for Hamilton. The Guelph product, who posted a career-best 74-933-7 line while starting all 18 regular-season games in 2024, has started the new campaign with matching four-catch efforts, albeit while averaging a modest 9.9 yards per grab. Smith's chemistry with Bo Levi Mitchell keeps him in play each week, however, and he'll look to up his downfield impact when the Ti-Cats return to action in a Week 4 Friday night home matchup against Montreal on June 27.
