Taylor Cornelius

QuarterbackQB
Ruled out for season finale
QBEdmonton
Abdomen
October 17, 2022
Cornelius won't play in Friday's game against the Lions after being hospitalized due to a spleen injury.
ANALYSIS
Cornelius won't be available for the Elks' last game of 2022 after suffering an injury to his spleen during Saturday's loss to Toronto. Interestingly enough, Cornelius finished Saturday's game before being admitted to the hospital later that night, so the fact he was able to play through the injury is certainly a testament to the quarterback's toughness. Cornelius is expected to make a full recovery, but Tre Ford will get the start under center for the Elks in Week 20.
